Founded in 2014 by Bhaswar Sen, a trained violinist and visionary musician, T.R.A.P began as a small collective of four college students. What started as an experimental musical project has now grown into a full-fledged band that recently celebrated its 11th anniversary on 24th August 2025, marking more than a decade of musical excellence and nationwide recognition.

Hailing from Kolkata (West Bengal), the band has carved a special place in India’s college and festival circuit. Over the years, T.R.A.P has performed across 25+ Indian states, covering almost every major city and premier educational institution, including IITs, IIMs, NITs, AIIMS, IISc, IIEST, Jadavpur University, and Presidency University. Their journey is not just about shows, but about building a loyal community that has grown with them.

With multiple live performances to their credit, T.R.A.P has entertained audiences at reputed college fests, large-scale music festivals, corporate events, and weddings across the country. The band has also witnessed record-breaking crowds, with their largest live audience exceeding 50,000 people, highlighting their strong on-ground pull and popularity.

Expanding beyond India, T.R.A.P has successfully taken its music to Bhutan, Nepal, and Thailand, proving its appeal across borders. Their growing digital presence further strengthens their position as a modern-era band, with 23,000+ followers on Instagram, 41,000+ followers on Facebook, and a solid YouTube footprint.

Their YouTube channel “TRAP PLAN B” boasts 107,000 subscribers and has earned the YouTube Silver Play Button, while another channel adds an additional 15,000 subscribers, reflecting strong engagement across platforms.
