Corrie fans BEWILDERED by ‘invisible child’ mystery plot twist

CORONATION STREET viewers were left distracted by an ‘invisible child’ mystery on Wednesday’s episode, as Daisy discovers Daniel’s dark secret.

In Wednesday’s episode, Daisy suggested to Daniel that they all meet up for drinks after work.

But, Nicky arrived at the Rovers unaware that Daisy was trying to set her up with her ex Ashley, and Nicky was embarrassed when Ashley clearly recognised her.

Daisy was then left stunned to discover that Ashley knew Nicky from her days as a sex worker, and that Daniel had also paid Nicky for her time.

As the pair rowed in the street, Corrie fans were distracted by another detail – and that was the mention of Daniel’s toddler son Bertie.

Viewers pointed out that Bertie is rarely seen these days, and has become ‘invisible’ in the soap.

One fan tweeted: “Corrie ooh Bertie, the invisible child, just got a mention.” @Mel_Navan asked: “#Corrie So Ken has Bertie now does he? Beth & Kirk had him earlier…”

While another said: “I’ll get these to say thank you for looking after Bertie…says Daniel whilst in the pub and someone else is looking after invisible Bertie!”

And a third wrote: “Think I might go on the Coronation Street tour and see if I can find Bertie, sort of like a real like Where’s Wally.”

    CORONATION Street viewers were disgusted as Max Turner plots more sick revenge on Daniel Osbourne in Wednesday’s episode.

    In last night’s instalment, Max discovered that Daniel had a relationship with former sex worker Nicky Wheatley and appeared intent on exposing it.

    A DOCUMENTARY about Coronation Street veteran Bill Roache has left viewers all asking the same question about the soap star.

    The actor, whose birthday is next Monday, is the world’s most enduring TV soap star, having played Ken Barlow since 1960.

    ITV celebrated the Corrie legend on Tuesday night with Happy Birthday Bill, a documentary to mark his 90th birthday.

    During his 62 years on the long-running soap, Ken has been married four times, had four kids, numerous flings, been to prison and even been at the centre of a whodunnit.

    And while life hasn’t been quite as dramatic for the man who plays him, those tuning in to tonight’s Happy Birthday Bill have been left stunned by his age.

  • Daniel Osbourne issues dark threat to David Platt 

    DANIEL Osbourne has been at odds with Weatherfield teen Max Turner in recent months.

    But when one of his misdeeds crosses the line in Coronation Street, the teacher issues a troubling threat to his adoptive father David.

    Max (played by Paddy Bever) is continuously wreaking havoc in the cobbles and Daniel (Rob Mallard) has had enough when he brings trouble to his ex Nicky Wheatley.

    In upcoming episodes of the long-running ITV soap, Daniel rails at Max for ruining the latter’s life but David (Jack P. Shepherd) leaps to Max’s defence in a heartbeat.

    However, Daniel refuses to back and issues a shocking threat to Max.

    The teacher is aware the teen is guilty of spiking Amy Barlow’s drink during the Valentine’s Day dance – an incident which led 18-year-old straight to hospital.

    Daniel is at his wit’s end with Max and tells him that it’s time Amy knew who spiked her.

    Linda decides to go back to serving customers in the Vic but things get tough when her soon-to-be former husband Mick returns from his holiday with their son Ollie and his new love interest Janine.

    To keep her in line, Linda’s daughter Nancy asks Frankie to remain close to her while she’s back behind the bar.

    Loved-up Nancy has other ambitions and focuses on the restaurant she’d like to open with her boyfriend Zack Hudson.

    However, Janine is intent on sabotaging Linda’s return at the popular pub puts her well-known manipulative tactics to good use once again.

  • Corrie: Gary finds Rick’s secret money stash

    While Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) turned down her father’s eye-watering inheritance, Gary Windass (Mikey North) will find out that Rick Neelan has been hiding a lot more funds than expected.

    Coming up, Ed and Paul find a holdall containing £17k under the floorboards at the late loan shark’s house.

    In later scenes, Kelly irons her dress for Laura’s funeral while Gary and Maria (Samia Longchambon) dread the day ahead, notably following Rick’s own funeral which turned into a fist fight.

    Following the funeral, Gary offers to bank the £17k for Kelly, but she makes out she’ll do it herself.

  • Corrie: Eileen catches George red-handed

    Undertaker Todd discovers his boss George (Tony Maudsley) isn’t as innocent as he portrays himself to be and a surprising discovery could set this in stone.

    Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) invites her partner George for dinner and asks him to stay the night – but she’s hurt when he gets out of it with an excuse.

    Later, Todd and George discuss the funeral arrangements for a Mr Little and it seems clear the latter is a bigamist with two Mrs Littles roaming around Weatherfield, unaware of one another.

    When Eileen reveals how George curtailed their romantic evening in favour of his cat, a mystified Mary begins to question whether he even has one at all.

    But the cat DOES slip out of the bag when Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) overhears Todd and George discussing how best to ensure the two women don’t find out about each other.

    Sean jumps to the wrong conclusion, believing George to be cheating on Eileen and he drops the bombshell that his cat is actually another woman.

    Devastated, and ready to get some answers from the man she loves, Eileen storms into the Rovers and confronts Todd and George.

    But is all really as it seems?
